FRIED CHANNA DAL

Bored with your regular dal (lentil) .Here's an amazing recipe for you all .This North Indian recipe is enriched with vitamin A and B-complex , protein , high fiber . All this vitamins and minerals provides energy and keep your heart healthy, good for your gut , skin and eyes .A single dish with lots of benefits.   



   


INGREDIENTS :
  • Water                                      100 ml
  • Yellow Lentil / चना दाल                250 gram
  • Tomato / टमाटर                         3(medium)
  • Onion / प्याज                             3(medium)
  • Ginger / अदरक                          1 inch
  • Curry leaves / करी पत्ते                8-10 leaves 
  • Turmeric powder/ हल्दी पाउडर      1/2 tea spoon
  • Chilli powder/मिर्च पाउडर              as per taste
  • Salt / नमक                                as per taste
  • Cinnamon / दालचीनी                    1/2 tea spoon
  • Dry mango powder /आमचूर         1 tea spoon 
  • Garam masala / गरम मसाला         1 tea spoon
  • Cumin / जीरा                             1/2 tea spoon
  • Bay leaves / तेज़ पत्ता                   2 leaves 
  • Oil / तेल                                    2 table spoon 






INSTRUCTIONS:

  1. Boil lentil till it become coarse with the help of pressure cocker.
  2. Pour oil in a pan.
  3. Add cumin, curry leaves, bay leave and roast them lightly.
  4. Add finely chopped onions and grated ginger.
  5. Saute for minute till onion become transparent.
  6. Add finely chopped tomato and turmeric powder, chilli powder, cinnamon and dry mango powder.
  7. Mix properly, cover and cook till tomato starts to release oil                              (Note : Make sure to saute in between).
  8. Add boiled lentil and water.
  9. Add salt and garam masala.
  10. Boil till you get desired consistency                                                                  (Note : add water according to the consistency you want.)
  11. Garnish with coriander leaves and its ready to serve.

निर्देश :

  1. चन्ना दाल को प्रेशर कुकर में उबालें ।
  2. एक पैन में तेल डाल दें।
  3. जीरा, करी पत्ते, तेज़ पत्ता और उन्हें हल्के से भुना लें।
  4. इसमें बारीक कटे हुए प्याज और कसा हुआ अदरक डालें।
  5. प्याज पारदर्शी होने तक के लिए भून लें।
  6. इसमें बारीक कटे टमाटर और हल्दी पाउडर, मिर्च पाउडर, दालचीनी और आमचूर पाउडर डालें।
  7. ठीक से मिलाएं, और तब तक पकाएं जब तक टमाटर तेल छोड़ना शुरू नहीं हो जाता                   (ध्यान दें: सुनिश्चित करें कि यह जला न जाए।)
  8. उबला हुआ चना दाल और पानी डालें।
  9. नमक और गरम मसाला डालें।
  10. गाढे होते तक उबालें।                 
  11. धनिया के पत्तों से गार्निश करें और यह सर्व करने के लिए तैयार है।
